By News Channel, Sep. 19, 2018

Liberal media outlets are using Facebook and other social outlets as a dragnet for other women who might want to accuse embattled Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, proclaiming that “the truth will emerge.”

Journalists and sources for ABC, the Washington Post, PBS and others are targeting sites like Facebook’s members only Holton-Arms alumnae for women who might have met Kavanaugh while in high school, suggesting strongly and without evidence that many others were abused.

Hillary Restrains Press Behind Rope At July 4 Parade

By Tim Graham, Jul. 5, 2015, Newsbusters

Via Soopermexican at The Right Scoop, we learn Hillary spent Independence Day corralling her dependent traveling press corps behind a rope -- literally.

This is a prime example of how Hillary's imperious nature created a visual that telegraphs to voters how she wants to campaign in a bubble and isn't really interested in transparency. Can you imagine a Republican being able to rope off the press corps without it damaging their image? The Daily Mail reported:

As Hillary Clinton walked freely down a New Hampshire road, she shook hands and greeted residents with a smile.

But the members of the press accompanying her were a bit more restricted in their movements - as they were guided through the streets with a rope.

The former Secretary of State's campaign staff kept reporters, cameramen and photographers at arm's length as she joined a July 4 parade in Gorham - fueling speculation she is trying to control the media.

ABC Ignores Flat Wages, While NBC And CBS Reported Accurately

By Chris Houck, Jul. 2, 2015, Newsbusters

All three major broadcast networks covered on their Thursday evening newscasts the June 2015 jobs report, but it was ABC’s World News Tonight that neglected provide any further details and/or context beyond the unemployment rate and number of jobs added and omitted how hourly wages remained flat and the labor force participation rate sunk to its lowest level in 38 years. While CBS and NBC chronicled the numerous pitfalls to varying degrees, neither chose to look at why the numbers remained sluggish or assign blame for the state of the economy.

Latino Police Officers Assn. Rep: Media Are Playing Role in Rising Murder Rates

By Yuri Perez, Jun. 5, 2015, Newsbusters

The negative consequences of months of relentless anti-police reporting in the news media caught the attention of MundoFox, a major national Spanish-language television network. Commenting on the spike in New York City’s murder rate, the Chairman of the National Latino Officers Association, NYPD veteran Anthony Miranda, told MundoFox that “many officers are confused” and “don’t know whether to follow the media or the law.”

Univision Buys The Root from Graham Holdings’ Slate Group

Todd Spangler, May 21, 2015, Variety.com

Hispanic media company Univision Communications has acquired The Root, a top online destination for African-American news and commentary, in a bid to expand its reach to a new audience.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The Root was a subsidiary of the Slate Group, owned by Graham Holdings Co. In 2013, Jeffrey Bezos, founder and CEO of Amazon.com, acquired the Washington Post, in a separate transaction.

In joining Univision, The Root will use UCI’s digital production facilities and publishing infrastructure while preserving its editorial voice, according to the company.

“This bold new partnership between Univision and The Root underscores the ties that have long bound people of color together throughout the Western Hemisphere and is a sign of even greater levels of communication, collaboration and exchange between these culturally vital groups of people,” said Henry Louis Gates Jr., director of the Hutchins Center for African and African-American Research at Harvard University, and chairman of The Root. Gates co-founded The Root with Donald Graham, CEO and chairman of Graham Holdings, in January 2008.

Time For Comcast-NBC To Fire Al Sharpton

Jeffrey Lord, Dec. 27, 2014, Newsbusters

And -- drumroll, please -- Power Indicator # 4 is that “Unlike the rest of us, he’s excused from paying taxes.” The latter point stunningly correct, Sharpton’s massive unpaid tax bills clearly one big no-never-mind to even the president himself. But to the point here the most important indicator of Sharpton’s power, as noted by Concha with what seems to be unerring accuracy, is Power Indicator # 3, Sharpton’s hour-long nightly show on MSNBC.

CBS Continues To Ignore Email With Racially Tinged Jokes

Curtis Houck, Dec. 11, 2014, Newsbusters

On Thursday night, CBS continued to make no mention of the news that the hacking attack on Sony Pictures has revealed emails between co-chairwoman Amy Pascal and film producer Scott Rudin mocking what they perceived to be President Barack Obama’s movie tastes. The CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley covered continued fallout from the attack, but only in the context of no press being allowed at the premiere of the Sony film The Interview, which is largely believed to be the reason that the movie studio was targeted for attack.

Geoffrey Dickens, Dec. 9, 2014, Newsbusters

Tuesday’s congressional hearing that featured Jonathan Gruber being grilled about his controversial ObamaCare remarks was carried live by Fox News for 54 minutes, and 53 seconds. CNN and MSNBC didn’t bother to air any of the hearing live. The hearing lasted from 9:30am ET to about 1:35 pm ET, but the total amount of the Gruber hearing shown during that time on CNN and MSNBC came in the form of a handful of soundbites of Gruber’s apology.

Networks Failed To Expose Doubts in Rolling Stone Rape Story; Devoted 11 Minutes On Evening Shows To Initial Report

Curtis Houck, Dec. 6, 2014, Media Research Center

When the now-retracted article by the Rolling Stone magazine was published on November 19 about a brutal gang rape of a first-year student at the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity house at the University of Virginia (UVA), the major broadcast networks rushed to the story and devoted multiple segments to both the article and reaction on the school’s campus.

CNN Spends 26 Seconds On Bridgegate Report Clearing Christie; Devoted 8.5 hours On First Day Of Allegations

Curtis Houck, Dec. 5, 2014, Media Research Center

Back in January, when the Bridgegate scandal surfaced, CNN offered wall-to-wall coverage totaling just over eight hours and 35 minutes of coverage on its first full day and featured the Republican Governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, at the center of it all.

So, when news surfaced on early Friday morning that a Democrat-led investigation cleared Christie of any wrongdoing, CNN chose to adopt a different approach and all but ignore this news. Through 5:30pm ET, the cable network had spent a scant 26 seconds on the report’s exoneration of Christie.

Black Mob Violence Now A Sickness

Colin Flaherty, Nov. 26, 2014, American Thinker

Thank you, Ferguson: Thanks to you we learned that black mob violence is now a sickness -- not just a problem.

And no one is sicker than the reporters who ignore, condone, excuse, and even encourage it, as we learned from the latest riot.

For reporters, Mike Brown has always been a moving target: At first the Gentle Giant was cut down for no reason whatsoever. Reporters ate it up and black mob violence followed.

Morale Sinks At CNN's DC Bureau

Dylan Byers, Nov. 10, 2014, Politico

"Morale at the CNN Washington Bureau is about as strong as it is inside the Redskins’ locker room — and the management is just as bad," another CNN staffer said.

The latest round of layoffs and buyouts was meant to cut roughly 300 positions from across CNN’s bureaus, or 8 percent of its total staff. In Washington, roughly 50 employees were let go — 27 through layoffs and roughly two dozen through buyouts. Meanwhile, CNN DC has created 20 new positions on the digital side. The network said that a few of the laid-off employees have reapplied for new positions at the network, and at least three have been accepted so far.

Sharyl Attikisson: We're Being 'Manipulated' By Media

Ginni Thomas, Nov. 9, 2014, Daily Caller

Sharyl Attkisson, who rejects having any political allegiance while focusing on the truth, discusses here how powerful, hidden special interests in the media increasingly hide the truth and homogenize American news. The media, to her, seem nonplussed by government privacy invasions, even when it happens to themselves.

In Part 1 of our exclusive video interview with Attkisson, she tells us how she found and reported the sophisticated, remote intrusions in her own computer and how she used her own forensic specialists to confirm the government’s intrusions prior to public awareness of similar offenses to media outlets and reporters. She even identified that someone planted classified documents in her computer, seemingly to frame her or her sources.

Freeman Dyson, Professor of Physics
By Larry Elder, Apr. 20, 2014

This piece is about the power of the Axis of Indoctrination, which consists of Media, Academia and Hollywood. In this case, we focus on the power of Hollywood -- and how it not just reflects, but shapes perception and opinion on culture and politics.

We start with a man named Freeman Dyson. Who is Freeman Dyson? How smart is he? And why has this Obama-supporting liberal become one of the world’s leading “climate change skeptics”?

Here’s what The New York Times magazine said, in 2009, about this world-renowned physicist:

“Dyson is a scientist whose intelligence is revered by other scientists -- William Press, former deputy director of the Los Alamos National Laboratory and now a professor of computer science at the University of Texas, calls him ‘infinitely smart.’ Dyson -- a mathematics prodigy who came to this country at 23 and right away contributed seminal work to physics by unifying quantum and electrodynamic theory -- not only did path-breaking science of his own; he also witnessed the development of modern physics, thinking alongside most of the luminous figures of the age, including Einstein, Richard Feynman, Niels Bohr, Enrico Fermi, Hans Bethe, Edward Teller, J. Robert Oppenheimer and Edward Witten, the ‘high priest of string theory’ whose office at the institute is just across the hall from Dyson’s.”

You get the point.

At 90, Dyson’s mind remains vital. A few years ago, he began to examine the widely accepted notion that man-made “global warming” or man-affected “climate change” represents a threat to our existence. He soon became what many call a “climate-change skeptic.” The Times said:

“it was [in 2005] that Dyson began publicly stating his doubts about climate change. Speaking at the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future at Boston University, Dyson announced that 'all the fuss about global warming is grossly exaggerated.' Since then he has only heated up his misgivings, declaring in a 2007 interview with Salon.com that “the fact that the climate is getting warmer doesn’t scare me at all” and writing in an essay for The New York Review of Books, the left-leaning publication that is to gravitas what the Beagle was to Darwin, that climate change has become an ‘obsession’ -- the primary article of faith for ‘a worldwide secular religion’ known as environmentalism.

“Among those he considers true believers, Dyson has been particularly dismissive of Al Gore, whom Dyson calls climate change’s ‘chief propagandist,’ and James Hansen, the head of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York and an adviser to Gore’s film, ‘An Inconvenient Truth.’ Dyson accuses them of relying too heavily on computer-generated climate models that foresee a Grand Guignol of imminent world devastation as icecaps melt, oceans rise and storms and plagues sweep the earth, and he blames the pair’s ‘lousy science’ for ‘distracting public attention’ from ‘more serious and more immediate dangers to the planet.’”

Dyson is married. His wife, accompanied by him, goes to the theatre to see Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth.” Her reaction? Did she immediately dismiss it as propaganda? After all, she alone is in unique position to listen to and benefit from the musings on the subject from one of the world’s smartest minds, right?

But, no, she felt Dyson had been deceptive:

“A particularly distressed member of that public was Dyson’s own wife, Imme, who, after seeing the film in a local theater with Dyson when it was released in 2006, looked at her husband out on the sidewalk and, with visions of drowning polar bears still in her eyes, reproached him: ‘Everything you told me is wrong!’ she cried.

“’The polar bears will be fine,’ he assured her.”

If a one-sided, propagandistic documentary by a grade-D science student can, in 100 minutes, undo the brilliant Dyson’s influence on his own wife, Lord help the rest of us.

Ann Coulter: Hysterical Media Tells Us To Calm Down

Ann Coulter, Oct. 29, 2014, Townhall

In the past week, The New York Times has ridiculed Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Gov. Chris Christie for having "fed panic" by ordering quarantines for health workers arriving from Ebola-plagued countries.

NBC News' Brian Williams opened his broadcast last Friday announcing that the Obama administration was trying "to restrain the Ebola panic."

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow complained that the "hysteria" over Ebola was getting "stupider."
