Being asked to host the Oscars isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Last December when Jimmy Kimmel was at the airport, coming home from a relaxing family vacation in Hawaii, he took a phone call from his agent with the offer. After he hung up — “my response was not one of enthusiasm,” he confesses — he dreaded facing his wife, TV writer- producer Molly McNearney, who had lived through his hosting the Emmys just three months earlier.

It’s all becoming clear now. If you look back at the actions of the Obama administration, especially Hillary Clinton, and connect the dots, it starts to make sense. The question is, will it be too late to save the Republic?

In a very insightful article by General Mike Flynn titled “Why Hillary’s record on Libya is even worse than you think,” he lays out the case that Hillary, as Secretary of State, knowingly funded jihadis in Libya after meeting with Gulf kingdoms and tens of millions of dollars flowed into the Clinton Foundation. That is what the Benghazi cover-up was all about, to prevent this information from becoming known.

Hillary Clinton has never felt comfortable with the traveling political press.

As first lady, she would sometimes arrange travel for herself and daughter Chelsea separate from her husband, partly to avoid the protective pool of reporters assigned to the president. In 2008, she “fought tooth and nail,” former aides said, to avoid sharing the plane with her press corps and relented only when her campaign was running out of money and had to either bring the reporters on board or downgrade to commercial.

Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton on Sunday defended her record of flip-flopping on major issues including same-sex marriage, the Iraq War and the Keystone XL pipeline, saying she is not “someone who stakes out a position and holds it regardless of the evidence.”

Chuck Todd, anchor of NBC “Meet the Press,” showed Mrs. Clinton a montage of her changing views:

⦁ As a New York senator in 2002, she voted for the Iraq War, saying “it is with conviction that I support this resolution as being in the best interest of our nation.” Thirteen years later, she said she made a mistake, “plain and simple.”

By Eugene Scott and Dan Merica, Sep 05, 2015 CNN

Tuesday's New Day on CNN completely glossed over the fact that 150 out of 7,000 pages from the latest release of Hillary Clinton's e-mail from her tenure as secretary of state contained classified information. Instead, John Berman wildly claimed that "as far as I can tell, nothing in here that reeks of illegality in what we're seeing here." Alisyn Camerota wondered, "If there's no smoking gun, when does the e-mail issue go away?" Nia-Malika Henderson even asserted that "in some ways, these e-mails, kind of, help, because there's no 'there' there."

Berman brought up the latest e-mail release during a panel discussion segment with Henderson and The New Yorker's Ryan Lizza. The fill-in anchor noted that in " these e-mails – these 7,000 pages that came out overnight – there's the gefilte fish; there's a lot of mundane discussion in here." He turned to Henderson and asked, "Nia, it seems at a certain point – because there is, as far as I can tell, nothing in here that reeks of illegality in what we're seeing here. But does that even matter now – because you have these releases – and we will have more – and the stench is out there?"
