Being asked to host the Oscars isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Last December when Jimmy Kimmel was at the airport, coming home from a relaxing family vacation in Hawaii, he took a phone call from his agent with the offer. After he hung up — “my response was not one of enthusiasm,” he confesses — he dreaded facing his wife, TV writer- producer Molly McNearney, who had lived through his hosting the Emmys just three months earlier.

It’s all becoming clear now. If you look back at the actions of the Obama administration, especially Hillary Clinton, and connect the dots, it starts to make sense. The question is, will it be too late to save the Republic?

In a very insightful article by General Mike Flynn titled “Why Hillary’s record on Libya is even worse than you think,” he lays out the case that Hillary, as Secretary of State, knowingly funded jihadis in Libya after meeting with Gulf kingdoms and tens of millions of dollars flowed into the Clinton Foundation. That is what the Benghazi cover-up was all about, to prevent this information from becoming known.

Hillary Clinton has never felt comfortable with the traveling political press.

As first lady, she would sometimes arrange travel for herself and daughter Chelsea separate from her husband, partly to avoid the protective pool of reporters assigned to the president. In 2008, she “fought tooth and nail,” former aides said, to avoid sharing the plane with her press corps and relented only when her campaign was running out of money and had to either bring the reporters on board or downgrade to commercial.

Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton on Sunday defended her record of flip-flopping on major issues including same-sex marriage, the Iraq War and the Keystone XL pipeline, saying she is not “someone who stakes out a position and holds it regardless of the evidence.”

Chuck Todd, anchor of NBC “Meet the Press,” showed Mrs. Clinton a montage of her changing views:

⦁ As a New York senator in 2002, she voted for the Iraq War, saying “it is with conviction that I support this resolution as being in the best interest of our nation.” Thirteen years later, she said she made a mistake, “plain and simple.”

By Eugene Scott and Dan Merica, Sep 05, 2015 CNN

Tuesday's New Day on CNN completely glossed over the fact that 150 out of 7,000 pages from the latest release of Hillary Clinton's e-mail from her tenure as secretary of state contained classified information. Instead, John Berman wildly claimed that "as far as I can tell, nothing in here that reeks of illegality in what we're seeing here." Alisyn Camerota wondered, "If there's no smoking gun, when does the e-mail issue go away?" Nia-Malika Henderson even asserted that "in some ways, these e-mails, kind of, help, because there's no 'there' there."

Berman brought up the latest e-mail release during a panel discussion segment with Henderson and The New Yorker's Ryan Lizza. The fill-in anchor noted that in " these e-mails – these 7,000 pages that came out overnight – there's the gefilte fish; there's a lot of mundane discussion in here." He turned to Henderson and asked, "Nia, it seems at a certain point – because there is, as far as I can tell, nothing in here that reeks of illegality in what we're seeing here. But does that even matter now – because you have these releases – and we will have more – and the stench is out there?"

Bernie Sanders Tops Hillary Clinton In Latest New Hampshire Poll

By Jeremy Diamond, Aug 13, 2015 CNN

Washington (CNN) Bernie Sanders has for the first time pulled ahead of Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire, according to a poll released Tuesday.

Sanders topped Clinton with 44% compared to her 37% support among likely Democratic primary voters, according to a Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald poll.

Sanders has been gaining momentum as he generates enthusiasm among the Democratic Party's progressive base but until now he has still trailed Clinton in every early state poll.

Clinton continues to enjoy more than double Sanders' support in national polls, though that polling has also shown Clinton's vulnerabilities as voters question her honesty and trustworthiness.

Hillary Clinton:  'All Bets Are Off' If Iran Deal Is Spiked

By Dan Merica, Jeff Zeleny and Tom LoBianco,
Aug 10, 2015
CNN

Washington (CNN)Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton strengthened her support for President Barack Obama's proposed nuclear deal with Iran on Monday, saying that "all bets are off" if the deal is struck down.

"I'm hoping that the agreement is finally approved and I'm telling you if it's not, all bets are off," Clinton told supporters during a campaign stop in New Hampshire.

Clinton said that rejecting the deal would be a "very bad signal to send in a quickly moving and oftentimes dangerous world."

"The Europeans, the Russians, the Chinese, they're gonna say we agreed with the Americans, I guess their president can't make foreign policy," Clinton said. "That's a very bad signal to send."

After the deal was inked by the Obama administration, Clinton has consistently warned that the U.S. jeopardizes its standing among other world powers who worked on the deal -- including Europe, Russia and China -- if Congress spikes the deal.

Hillary Clinton Wants To Help Student Debtors By Taxing The Rich

By Shahien Nasiripour, Aug 10, 2015 Huffingtonpost

Hillary Clinton promises to reduce the growth and burden of student debt if she is elected president by taxing high earners, she plans to announce Monday.

The Democratic presidential candidate wants state and federal governments to increase their funding for students at certain public colleges while also allowing existing borrowers to refinance their high-rate loans and enroll in plans that limit payments to 10 percent of their income. The plan, which would cost $350 billion over 10 years, needs congressional approval and support from states to be viable.

The centerpiece of Clinton's proposal, to be unveiled Monday, promises that students who commit to working at least 10 hours a week can attend college without having to take out loans for tuition. Families would still have to contribute, but less than under current guidelines. State and federal funding would make up the balance. The plan calls for the federal government to incentivize colleges to control costs and states to increase expenditures to support colleges. Students would still have to pay for their living expenses, which the College Board estimates will be about $17,410 for the typical student in the coming nine months.

Hillary Clinton To Testify Before Benghazi Panel In October

By Ryan Evans, Aug 07, 2015 Bulletin Leader

An internal government review of former Secretary of State controversial private email account concluded that some of those messages contained classified information, senior government officials confirm to ABC News.

Some of Clinton’s supporters see the current efforts, including Gowdy’s, as a political move to discredit Clinton’s reputation ahead of the 2016 presidential campaign. “I can tell you what the facts are”.

Clinton on Friday criticized what she called “a lot of inaccuracies” in brief remarks about the classified emails.

“What I think you’re seeing here is a very typical kind of discussion-to some extent disagreement-among various parts of the government over what should or should not be publicly released”, she said.

“If I just turned it over, we would not be having this conversation”, she said.

A breakthrough on Clinton testifying could also buy time for the Obama administration to decide how to respond to the alerts that Clinton may have compromised classified information, Marston said.

Forget The Debates Hillary Takes Selfies At Hollywood Celebs L.A. Fundraiser

By Sarah Stites, Aug 07, 2015 NewsBusters

During the GOP debates, Hillary was hitting it up with Hollywood celebs.

At a fundraising event in talent manager Scooter Braun’s Los Angeles home, Clinton got together with Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Kris Jenner, Tom Hanks, Jessica Alba and other stars. The 225 supporters in attendance were required to contribute at least $2,700 to the Hillary for America fund.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, this was the “third time Clinton had tapped Hollywood for funds since declaring her 2016 presidential candidacy.”

In a 30-minute speech, Hillary stressed her support for Planned Parenthood and Obama’s eco-initiatives—topics which were received well by the liberal audience.

After the event, Kim Kardashian characteristically posted a selfie with the presidential candidate. The photo of the reality star, her husband Kanye West and Clinton was featured on many media outlets the next morning. The caption read: “I got my selfie!!! I really loved hearing her speak & hearing her goals for our country! #HillaryForPresident”

Andrea Mitchell Suggests ‘Inaccurate Reporting’ Caused Hillary’s Poll Plummet

By Kyle Drennen, Aug 04, 2015 NewsBusters

In an interview with Hillary Clinton’s communications director Jen Palmieri on Tuesday, MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell fretted over the Democratic front-runner’s recent dive in the polls: “The numbers are grim for Secretary Clinton, whose overall unfavorable rating of 48% is worse than any unfavorable rating we've recorded for Barack Obama during his presidency....What do you think is the cause of these poll numbers?”

After Palmieri dismissed Clinton’s unfavorability as “the wrong question,” Mitchell offered another possible reason for the political damage: “And one of the things that we’ve pointed out is that these unfavorable poll numbers came immediately after an inaccurate report...which led to a lot of other inaccurate reporting before it was corrected....Do you feel that there is a problem, that she's being treated unfairly?”

Hillary Clinton Loses Ground With White Women--WSJ/NBC Poll

By Peter Nicholas, Aug 04, 2015 Wall Street Journal

Many Democrats have long hoped that Hillary Clinton might expand Barack Obama‘s electoral coalition by drawing in more white women voters.

A new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll suggests she may have a tough time pulling it off. Mrs. Clinton is losing ground with white women and many other important slices of the electorate, the poll shows, amid a spate of reports about her email practices, speaking fees and foreign donations to the Clinton Foundation.

Jerry Brown's Presidential Chance Dims with Biden Rumors

By Joel B. Pollak, Aug 02, 2015 Breitbart

As rumors swirl that Vice President Joe Biden may jump into the 2016 presidential race, pressure is mounting on California governor Jerry Brown to decide whether he will enter the race–a possibility he has not entirely ruled out.

Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton is still the favorite to win the nomination. But Clinton’s candidacy is struggling, as voters say they do not trust her, thanks to the exposure of years of insider dealing and a widening scandal surrounding her use and destruction of private emails during her tenure as Secretary of State.

Across the country, socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)16%
of Vermont, who is running for president as a Democrat, has been pulling in standing-room-only crowds, and threatening Clinton’s lead in the polls in key primary states.

Where Is The Coverage Of Juanita Broaddrick?

By Daniel John Sobieski, Aug 01, 2015 American Thinker

The liberal media feeding frenzy about a quarter-century-old alleged marital rape involving GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump, and former wife Ivana, has a fury that was strangely absent when Bill Clinton was credibly accused of rape by Juanita Broaddrick in a Little Rock hotel room in 1978 when William Jefferson Clinton was attorney general of Arkansas.

Ivana says her alleged “rape” never happened, Juanita Broaddrick says hers did. So why aren’t Hillary and Bill being peppered with questions about it as Donald and Ivana are? Perhaps because unlike liberal nemesis Trump’s case, Clinton’s more credidble story is now considered “old news”.

Newly Released Emails From Hillary Clinton's Private Server Include 41 Messages Now Marked CLASSIFIED

By David Martosko, July 31, 2015 Daily Mail

The second installment of emails from Hillary Clinton's private home-brew server, released Friday by the State Department, includes 41 messages that reviewers determined contained classified material.

Clinton claimed four months ago that her server, which she kept in her Chappaqua, New York home and used exclusively throughout her four-year tenure as secretary of state, never housed classified material.

That assertion began unraveling in late May, when a single message she sent was retroactively classified 'secret' – the second-highest level of classification – by State Department inspectors.

Friday's dump of more than 1,300 messages upped the ante considerably, although the 41 messages appear to all have been classified as 'confidential, which is one step lower.

Clinton’s Planned Parenthood Ties Run Deep

By Annie Karni, Anna Palmer, July 30, 2015 Politico

Hillary Clinton is friends with Planned Parenthood’s president and took a rare pause from her duties as secretary of state to keynote a Planned Parenthood gala, while her family foundation has worked with the group to promote birth control.

So when Planned Parenthood found itself in the middle of a major scandal last week when anti-abortion activists released graphic undercover videos of executives discussing the alleged sale of aborted fetal tissue, Clinton’s support for the group was not so much a choice as a foregone conclusion — Planned Parenthood’s problem was Clinton’s problem, too.

Hillary Clinton's Camp Fears A New 'Bimbo Eruption'

By Laura Collins, Aug 01, 2015 Daily Mail

Fears are growing among Hillary Clinton's advisors that Bill's sordid past is returning to thwart his wife's presidential campaign.

With her presidential bid the couple's relationship is the subject of renewed scrutiny bringing with it the threat of a second 'eruption of bimbos' akin to the one that almost derailed Bill's own presidential bid first time round.

In recent weeks Hillary's campaign has found itself increasingly mired in the scandals of the past.

Paula Jones, whose sexual harassment case almost cost Bill the presidency 21 years ago, has already come forward to deliver her verdict on Hillary's bid for the highest office.

The Astonishing Weakness Of Hillary Clinton

By Michael Brendan Dougherty
July 31, 2015
The Week

Hillary Clinton is as unpopular as she ever has been. Her favorability ratings have fallen to just 40 percent. Her campaign is already heading south, even though she has serious advantages over everyone else in the campaign, both Democratic and Republican.

Her opponents in the Democratic field do not pose a plausible mathematical threat. Bernie Sanders can attract huge crowds in college towns, but he is going nowhere with the African-American voters who would be key to building an anti-Clinton Democratic primary coalition. Martin O'Malley's record, shaped by his transition from the Baltimore mayoralty to the Maryland statehouse, has made him radioactive to an activist Democratic base that wants criminal justice reform and that winces when a politician like him says, "All Lives Matter." Clinton is thus free to define her agenda apart from them.

Joe Biden’s Political Moment

By Josh Kraushaar , July 28, 2015 National Journal

July 28, 2015 For Democratic leaders, the political logic of having Hillary Clinton as the party's standard bearer in 2016 was, at least for a while, undeniable. President Obama could maintain middling approval ratings, but Clinton's distance from political life as secretary of State gave her ample distance from the president's most controversial policies. Voters may be looking for change, but Clinton's bid to become the first female president gave her campaign a historic sheen that few others could provide. Most significantly, Clinton's independent brand (and record of opposing certain presidential decisions) would allow her to triangulate: distance herself from the White House when necessary, while also supporting Obama on other core issues.

It's the main reason Obama personally praised Clinton when she left the Cabinet, and has never offered any similar political shout-out to his loyal vice president, Joe Biden. Even if he wanted to run, Biden would have trouble broadening his support beyond Obama's coalition, and as an older white man, would probably face challenges exciting the core of nonwhite voters who make up the base of Obama's support. Clinton, thanks to her husband, held more of a political track record on that front—and had the capability of maximizing the gender gap in the Democrats' favor.
