UNREAL! How Utterly Offensive! Barack Obama Compares “Iranian Hardliners” To REPUBLICANS

By Jim Hoft, Aug 05, 2015 Gateway Pundint

A confident Donald Trump declared Sunday he will win the African-American and Hispanic vote and that Obama has done "nothing" for "African-American citizens of this country."

On ABC's "This Week," Jon Karl asked Donald Trump about a tweet from last year, where the Republican candidate wrote: "Sadly because Barack Obama has done such a poor job as president, you won't see another black president for generations."

"What did you mean by that?" asked Karl.

Obama "has been a very poor president," said Trump. "I think he has done a very poor job as president. We have 18 trillion dollars in debt and going up rapidly, rapidly ..."

Democrats Add Donald Trump To List Of Serious Republican Candidates

By Ben Jacobs, Aug 01, 2015 Guardian

The Democratic National Committee is treating Donald Trump like a serious presidential candidate.

The Guardian has learned that Trump has joined the tier of Republican White House hopefuls to whom the DNC assigns a full-time staff member, devoted to responding to statements and pushing back against his campaign.

Previously, the staffer in question only had New Jersey governor Chris Christie to monitor. But as Trump’s fortunes have risen in the polls and Christie’s have fallen, the DNC has changed its focus.

The decision makes Trump the ninth candidate (out of 17) to which the DNC is devoting such resources. In addition to Christie, Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, John Kasich, Rand Paul, Rick Perry, Marco Rubio and Scott Walker are also so monitored.

Ben Carson: ‘I Used To Be A Flaming Liberal’

By Genevieve Wood, July 30, 2015 Daily Signal

I had the chance to speak with Dr. Ben Carson recently about the Planned Parenthood scandal, his views on America’s growing debt and something I’ve always wanted to ask a brain surgeon…how do you explain the liberal brain?

You can watch the full video or jump to specific topics via the time codes below:

0:05 – Carson discusses how he hopes the current scandal surrounding Planned Parenthood will cause the black community to explore the organization’s history.

1:02 – As a doctor, Carson is well-known for his views opposing Obamacare, but I asked him what he believes are the other most pressing issues facing the country.ffice.

Caitlyn Jenner Comes Under Fire From Transgender Friends For Being Too Conservative

By Mike Larkin, Aug 01, 2015 Daily Mail

She has become a national icon of gender politics.

But now it seems Caitlyn Jenner could be coming under fire from fellow transgender women due to her self-confessed conservative views.

The hardcore Republican lands in hot water in the latest traliler for I Am Cait, after complaining about overly generous social programs while discussing how to address the problems people in their community face.

Caitlyn says: 'Don't a lot of times, they can make more not working with social programs than they actually can with an entry-level job.

'You don't want people to get totally dependent on it. That's when they get in trouble

'"Why should I work? I got a few bucks, I got my room paid for."'

The 65-year-old's criticism of welfare infuriates his fellow ladies, with one claiming the former Olympic gold medalist, who is worth an estimated $100 million, has spent to long living 'in the bubble' to understand the less fortunate.

Time To Get Tough Trump’s Blockbuster Policy Manifesto

By Stephen K. Bannon, July 12, 2015 Breitbart

The Washington Establishment’s increasing angst and opposition to billionaire real estate mogul Donald Trump’s presidential candidacy is predicated on the notion that his highly-quotable catchphrases—“Take the oil!” or “Build a wall!”—lack substantive policy prescriptions to back them up. In short, the RINO caucus’ knock on Trump is that his solutions are unserious, unmeasured, quixotic.

Yet if the chattering class fears Trump’s recent surge in the polls, they will go into panic-filled paroxysms when they read Trump’s smart and serious bestseller, Time to Get Tough: Making America #1 Again.

Among Trump’s many bestselling, anecdote-filled books, Time to Get Tough (originally published in 2011) stands out as his most penetrating, serious, and detailed enunciation of his political philosophy and policy views. Trump says it’s the “best book I’ve ever written” and is “better than The Art of the Deal.” Trump added, “It’s the hardest I’ve ever worked on a book. And it’s the most thought I’ve ever put into a book.”

Rand: I Think We Have 58 Votes To Defund Planned Parenthood

By Ian Hanchett, July 22, 2015 Breitbart

Kentucky Senator and Republican presidential candidate Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY)93%
said that he thinks there are about 58 senators who will vote to defund Planned Parenthood on Tuesday’s “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel.

Rand said “I’m horrified by these videos and and everybody is. When i think of ultrasound, I think of the pictures of my kids before they were born and the happiness we had. To imagine that doctors are using ultrasound to manipulate the body around, turn the body around to take body parts from a baby, it just — it sickens me. And so, I’ve been fighting to defund Planned Parenthood. I don’t think they should get any taxpayer dollars. And we got good news today, we are going to get a vote on this. The Senate will vote on defunding Planned Parenthood before we leave in August.”

Jews Response To Holocaust Comment 'Overwhelmingly Positive'

By Ali Elkin, July 28, 2015 Bloomberg

Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee on Tuesday doubled down on his comments likening the Iran nuclear deal to the Holocaust, saying the response from Jewish people he has spoken to has been “overwhelmingly supportive.”

“The response from Jewish people has been overwhelmingly positive, the response from Holocaust survivors, from the children of Holocaust survivors,” the former Arkansas governor said, appearing on NBC's Today Show. “I was last night in an event. I was probably one of four gentiles in the entire event—it was a Jewish event. People were overwhelmingly supportive.”

Bloomberg:  Here's Our Tally Of Donald Trump's Wealth

By Caleb Melby, July 28, 2015 Bloomberg

The latest math on Donald Trump: $2.9 billion.

An analysis by the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, based in part on a 92-page personal financial disclosure form made public last week, revealed a portfolio dominated by skyscrapers and golf courses. The celebrity presidential candidate says he’s worth more than $10 billion.

Trump has vaulted to the top of some polls in the crowded field of Republican contenders hoping to win the White House next year. His comments against illegal immigration and Senator John McCain’s status as a Vietnam War hero have attracted attention—and renewed the focus on his many and varied claims to the size of his own wealth.

Two Weeks To Go: Republicans Scramble To Make Debate Stage

By Jonathan Easley, July 27, 2015 The Hill

The race is on for the final spots on stage for the first Republican debate.

With the highly-anticipated showdown less than two weeks away, candidates with low polling numbers are in a high-stakes scramble to qualify for an event that represents their best shot at breaking out.

Fox News is capping the Aug. 6 debate in Cleveland at 10 candidates based on five as-of-yet unspecified national polls released by 5 p.m. on Aug. 4.

Based on five polls used by RealClearPolitics (RCP), eight candidates look like locks to make the stage, while the race for the final two slots is headed for a controversial photo finish. For the candidates currently ranked between ninth place and 14th place, the polling differential is negligible.

Watch Ted Cruz’s Epic Rant About How GOP Leadership Keeps Failing Conservatives

By Video Team, July 24, 2015 Daily Signal

On the Senate floor this morning, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, blasted Republican leadership.

“We’ve had a Republican majority in both houses of Congress now for about six months,” said Cruz in a speech. “What has that majority done? First thing we did – in December, we came back and passed a trillion dollar cromnibus plan, filled with pork and corporate welfare.”

“Then this Republican majority voted to fund Obamacare,” he continued, “voted to fund President Obama’s unconstitutional executive amnesty, then leadership rammed through the confirmation of Loretta Lynch as attorney general. Madam President, which of those decisions would be one iota different if Harry Reid were still majority leader? Not a one. Not a one. This senate operates exactly the same.”

Al Sharpton: Trump Not Running To Win

By Cheryl Chumley, July 22, 2015 WorldNetDaily

Al Sharpton sent out a harsh message about businessman Donald Trump, saying the billionaire may be running for president, but it doesn’t appear he’s really trying to win.

Sharpton also admitted in an interview with the Washington Post that his own run for the White House years ago wasn’t about winning, but rather about advancing his own personal causes.

“When you run for president, in my opinion, you run either to win or you run to further a cause,” Sharpton said, the Washington Post reported. “I ran [in 2004] to further a cause. … [and issues] we wanted to raise like criminal justice and all were not going to be in the center stage if we didn’t have a candidate.”

Exclusive Details: Donald Trump Heading To Texas Border

By Bob Price, July 21, 2015 NewsBusters

“We look forward to giving Mr. Trump a boots on the ground perspective on the Laredo Sector of the Texas-Mexico Border,” said National Border Patrol Council, Local 2455 President Hector Garza. “Mr. Trump is expected to be in Laredo later in the week.”

Garza told Breitbart Texas that following the border tour, Trump will have a town hall style meeting where law enforcement officers will be invited to provide feedback on their perspective of the border situation.

Breitbart Texas Managing Director Brandon Darby worked with Agent Garza to prepare for Trump’s border tour. “It is of utmost importance that possible future leaders of our country visit the border region, especially the Laredo Sector. Most Texans and other Americans hear that the Texas border was secured, but it wasn’t. The Rio Grande Valley Sector was supplemented with manpower from the State of Texas, but that mostly stopped where that sector ended and the Laredo Sector begins.” Darby added, “Mr. Trump will learn firsthand of the many holes and vulnerabilities that the Los Zetas cartel exploits to enter Texas and oppress their victims. We will keep the details of Mr. Trump’s intended visit private at this time.”

Tea Party Sours On Donald Trump

By David M. Drucker , July 19, 2015
Washington Examiner

Even before Donald Trump found himself on defense for disparaging Sen. John McCain's military service, Sal Russo wasn't too impressed with the real estate mogul's presidential prospects.

Russo knows a thing or two about populist uprisings and anti-establishment candidates. The former Reaganite spent eight weeks advising billionaire Ross Perot's third party campaign in 1992. In 2002, he consulted for a conservative challenger to moderate Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan in California's Republican gubernatorial primary (his candidate won the nomination). A few years later, Russo founded Tea Party Express, a group he still runs.

Chuck Todd: Is Trump ‘Reap What You Sow Issue’ for GOP?

By Jeffrey Meyer, July 19, 2015 NewsBusted

Building on comments he made on NBC’s Today, Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd wondered if Donald Trump’s attack on John McCain were a “reap what you sow issue here for the Republican Party?”

Todd first brought up the “reap what you sow” argument during an interview with Rick Perry as he played up how the GOP “party embraced Donald Trump four years ago...during his whole birther craze at the time and you actively reached out for him. In hindsight was that a mistake for the party in general to embrace Trump four years ago?”  - See more at: http://newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/jeffrey-meyer/2015/07/19/chuck-todd-trump-reap-what-you-sow-issue-gop#sthash.bblnnuJy.VJNq0abA.dpuf

Trump Would End 'Gun Free Zones' On Military Bases

By Paul Bedard, July 16, 2015
Washington Post

Donald Trump was unfortunately proven right on another one of his top issues Thursday: "gun free zones" at military bases.

There are indications that Thursday's shooting at two military bases in Chattanooga, Tenn., occurred at or near "gun free zones."

In an interview with the website AmmoLand.com, Trump decried the zones on military bases, suggesting that they left highly-trained gun operators without a weapon to fire at attackers, with the exception of military police.

Goldman Bankers Are Jeb Bush’s Top Backers for White House

By Max Abelson, July 16, 2015 Bloomberg

Important people at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. want Jeb Bush to be the next U.S. president. And they’re giving him a lot of money to make it happen.

More than 50 Goldman Sachs executives and employees gave the Republican more than $144,000 in the second quarter, with most of them sending $2,700, the maximum allowed, according to Federal Election Commission filings.

The company that was the next-best source of money for the former Florida governor, Neuberger Berman, is run by George Walker, Bush’s second cousin. Employees at the money manager gave more than $63,000. It once was part of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., where Bush was an adviser.
