By Town Hall, March. 12, 2019

Earlier last week, Lee County, Alabama was devastated by series of tornados that left 23 people dead. President Donald Trump visited the devastated communities in the state, where he was mocked over his border security agenda. Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) posted and then deleted an idiotic tweet last Friday, where he said, “WE ARE IN THE THIRD WEEK OF THE NATIONAL EMERGENCY! Can you feel the emergency? Is this why @realDonaldTrump is going to Alabama because we need to build a wall along Alabama’s southern border? Oh wait, I just looked at the map… #FridayMorning Thoughts."

He first achieved national renown with a speech hailing bipartisanship, and spent much of his presidency singing the praises of cooperation across party lines.

But nearly all of his major accomplishments resulted from party-line votes or executive actions.

And if Republicans accused him of paying too much attention to Democratic interests, allies blamed him for neglecting his party. Democrats lost a dozen governorships and hundreds of state legislative seats, as well as control of Congress, during his tenure.

By Washington Times, Oct 07, 2016

It’s all becoming clear now. If you look back at the actions of the Obama administration, especially Hillary Clinton, and connect the dots, it starts to make sense. The question is, will it be too late to save the Republic?

In a very insightful article by General Mike Flynn titled “Why Hillary’s record on Libya is even worse than you think,” he lays out the case that Hillary, as Secretary of State, knowingly funded jihadis in Libya after meeting with Gulf kingdoms and tens of millions of dollars flowed into the Clinton Foundation. That is what the Benghazi cover-up was all about, to prevent this information from becoming known.

In the wake of the massacre of five Dallas, Texas, policemen, with seven shot and wounded, President Barack Hussein Obama, as he has with his Muslim brothers, refused to refer to this heinous crime as a “hate crime” – despite the fact the shooter had admitted that he wanted to kill whites and in particular white cops, motivated by the hateful anti-white rhetoric spewed forth by Black Lives Matter and thus by extension the support this insidious group has gotten from Obama himself.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama and French President Francois Hollande discussed on Tuesday a knife attack outside Paris and the mass shooting in Orlando, Florida - attacks for which Islamic State claimed responsibility, the White House said.

"Both leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to degrading and destroying ISIL and standing against the broader scourge of terrorism," the White House said in a statement, using an acronym for Islamic State.

President Obama's 2008 campaign pledge to improve the image of the United States around the world hasn't worked in Russia where a decae low of just 1 percent approve of American leadership, according to Gallup.

In fact, Gallup said that Russia's view of the U.S. is the lowest in the world and comes at a time when Moscow is flexing its military muscle in hotspots like Syria where Obama is struggling to use force.

By Roll Call, April 19, 2016

A Senate bill that would allow families of those killed in the 9/11 attacks to sue the Saudi government has achieved a rare Washington distinction, by uniting the Obama administration and some of its fiercest GOP critics.

President Barack Obama and Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., are rallying to kill the bipartisan plan that would make it possible for American citizens to sue foreign governments believed to be linked to terrorist attacks on U.S. soil. House Speaker Paul D. Ryan, R-Wis., said the plan should be reviewed through regular order before decisions are made about advancing the measure.

It pays to have friends in high places.

Al Sharpton gave himself a 71 percent raise last year after his National Action Network group drew a record $6.9 million in donations — as the controversial cleric’s association with Mayor de Blasio and President Obama lent him a newfound air of legitimacy.

De Blasio’s election gave Sharpton a seat at City Hall, as the mayor treated him as an adviser and presented him at a press event next to Police Commissioner Bill Bratton after the death of Eric Garner.

Also in 2014, Obama addressed NAN’s annual convention, bringing along five of his Cabinet members.

President Obama and his FBI director are sparring over whether the so-called Ferguson Effect is real, complicating the president’s push to loosen the nation’s sentencing laws.

The dispute could threaten the growing bipartisan momentum behind a criminal justice reform effort that Obama sees as a top second-term priority.

The question of whether police are reluctant to enforce the law because they are afraid of being videotaped has become the subject of fierce debate, as experts struggle to explain an uptick in violent crime in some U.S. cities.

Obama Says Events Have Made Him More Open About Race

By Molly McKitterick, Aug 10, 2015 VOA News

As the United States has woken up to problems in race relations so it seems has President Barack Obama’s ability to speak about the issue.

The nation’s first black president told National Public Radio on Sunday that an “awakening around the country” to problems in race relations and police-community relations has opened the door for him to speak out.

While the problems are not new, the president said social media has brought them to the attention of the public.

“I think people have become more aware of them, both black and white. And that gives me an opportunity, I think, then, to try to help to constructively shape the debate,” Obama told NPR.

Baffled Chris Matthews: Why Do So Many Hate 'Moderate' Obama?

By Scott Whitlock, Aug 04, 2015 NewsBusted

A baffled Chris Matthews on Monday night wondered why so many people hate the "moderate" Barack Obama. Matthews cited a new poll finding hostility towards the President. An incredulous Matthews sneered, "Thirty three percent of this country, across the board, is very negative towards Obama, very negative. Personally, they just don't like him."

The Hardball anchor speculated, "Now, it could be all those reasons. He turned out to be more of an aggressive president, more of a Democratic-advocate president, a black-advocate president." With no sense of self awareness, Matthews insisted, "I think he's [Obama's] been moderate, myself."

Exclusive–Reince Priebus to Barack Obama: Release the Secret Operation Fast & Furious Documents

By Matthew Boyle, Aug 02, 2015 Breitbart

Now years after former Attorney General Eric Holder was voted into both criminal and civil contempt of Congress, President Barack Obama continues to hide from the U.S. Congress—and the American people—documents related to the Operation Fast and Furious gun walking scandal. President Obama himself is hiding the documents under what is generally considered a flimsy and imprecise use of presidential executive privilege.

As such, with the latest news that the deadly scandal may be connected to more carnage inside the United States—specifically the Garland, Texas terrorist attack earlier this year—Republican National Committee (RNC) chairman Reince Priebus is calling on the president to be transparent once and for all with regards to Fast and Furious.

Obama To Mandate Steeper Emissions Cuts From US Power Plants

By Josh Lederman, Aug 02, 2015 AP

NEW YORK (AP) — President Barack Obama will impose even steeper cuts on greenhouse gas emissions from U.S. power plants than previously expected, senior administration officials said Sunday, in what the president called the most significant step the U.S. has ever taken to fight global warming.

A year after proposing unprecedented carbon dioxide limits, Obama was poised to finalize the rule at a White House event on Monday. In a video posted to Facebook, Obama said the limits were backed up by decades of data showing that without tough action, the world will face more extreme weather and escalating health problems like asthma.

"Climate change is not a problem for another generation," Obama said. "Not anymore."

Opponents vowed to sue immediately, and planned to ask the courts to put the rule on hold while legal challenges play out. Many states have threatened not to comply.

Obama Strikes Again

By Caroline B Glick, July 30, 2015 Jerusalem Post

While Israel and much of official Washington remain focused on the deal President Barack Obama just cut with the ayatollahs that gives them $150 billion and a guaranteed nuclear arsenal within a decade, Obama has already moved on – to Syria.

Obama’s first hope was to reach a deal with his Iranian friends that would leave the Assad regime in place. But the Iranians blew him off.

They know they don’t need a deal with Obama to secure their interests. Obama will continue to help them to maintain their power base in Syria though Hezbollah and the remains of the Assad regime without a deal.

The Iran Nuke Documents Obama Doesn’t Want You to See

By Tim Mak, July 30, 2015 Daily Beast

Seventeen unclassified Iran deal items have been locked in ultra-secure facilities ordinarily used for top secret info. Why is the Obama administration trying to bury this material?
Scattered around the U.S. Capitol complex are a series of Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facilities, or SCIFs, which are typically used to hold Top Secret information.

But today in these deeply secure settings are a series of unclassified documents—items dealing with the Iran nuclear deal that are not secret, but that the Obama administration is nevertheless blocking the public from reading.

The Obama administration delivered 18 documents to Congress on July 19, in accordance with legislation requiring a Congressional review of the nuclear deal. Only one of these documents is classified, while the remaining 17 are unclassified.

FLASHBACK: Surprised? News Corp. Donates More To Democrats Than Republicans

By Becket Adams, Aug 23, 2012 The Blaze

Not news: Reading that major media outlets donate more to Democrat candidates than Republican candidates.

News: Learning Media tycoon Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation (which owns The Wall Street Journal, The New York Post, the 20th Century Fox studios, and Fox News) donates much more to Democrats than Republicans.

Really?

“All the major media companies, driven largely by their Hollywood film and television businesses, have made larger contributions to President Obama than to his rival, former Gov. Mitt Romney,” The New York Times reports, citing the nonprofit Center for Responsive Politics.

“The center’s numbers represent donations by a company’s PAC and any employees who listed that company as their employer,” the report adds.

But Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp.?

Obama: If I Ran For A 3rd Term I Would Win

By Tom LoBianco and Kevin Liptak,
July 28, 2015
CNN

Washington (CNN) President Barack Obama said Tuesday that he could win a third term in office if he ran again but that he is barred by the Constitution.

"I actually think I'm a pretty good President. I think if I ran, I could win. But I can't," Obama ad-libbed during a speech in Ethiopia. "There's a lot that I'd like to do to keep America moving. But the law is the law, and no person is above the law, not even the president."

Obama's remarks, which come on the same day that a new CNN/ORC poll found his approval rating standing in net-positive territory for the second month in a row, were made to the African Union in Addis Ababa. He is the first U.S. president to address the group, and was critiquing some African leaders' reluctance to turn over power.

Jon Stewart's Secret White House Visits

By Darren Samuelsohn, July 28, 2015 Daily Caller

Jon Stewart slipped unnoticed into the White House in the midst of the October 2011 budget fight, summoned to an Oval Office coffee with President Barack Obama that he jokingly told his escort felt like being called into the principal’s office.

In February 2014, Obama again requested Stewart make the trip from Manhattan to the White House, this time for a mid-morning visit hours before the president would go before television cameras to warn Russia that “there will be costs” if it made any further military intervention in Ukraine.

To engage privately with the president in his inner sanctum at two sensitive moments — previously unreported meetings that are listed in the White House visitor logs and confirmed to POLITICO by three former Obama aides — speaks volumes about Stewart and his reach, which goes well beyond the million or so viewers who tune into The Daily Show on most weeknights.

Jews Response To Holocaust Comment 'Overwhelmingly Positive'

By Ali Elkin, July 28, 2015 Bloomberg

Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee on Tuesday doubled down on his comments likening the Iran nuclear deal to the Holocaust, saying the response from Jewish people he has spoken to has been “overwhelmingly supportive.”

“The response from Jewish people has been overwhelmingly positive, the response from Holocaust survivors, from the children of Holocaust survivors,” the former Arkansas governor said, appearing on NBC's Today Show. “I was last night in an event. I was probably one of four gentiles in the entire event—it was a Jewish event. People were overwhelmingly supportive.”

Under Obama, Our Military’s Strength Has Significantly Decreased

By The Daily Signal, July 26, 201

Barack Obama is not likely to be mistaken for Teddy Roosevelt. Yes, his foreign policy has been quite soft-spoken—especially when addressing openly hostile states such as Iran. But he has whittled America’s “big stick” down to kindling.

While “resetting” with Russia and “engaging” with Iran, Obama has presided over a tremendous down-sizing of U.S. military strength. The Army’s manpower is down 10 percent since President Obama took office. Our naval capabilities are aging and inadequate to meet our national security demands. The Air Force fields the smallest and oldest force of combat aircraft in its history. The Marines are running only about two-thirds the number of battalions they have historically needed to meet day-to-day operational demands.
