LAPD Officer Accused Of Trying To Smuggle Mexican Citizen Across Border

By Joseph Serna, Mar. 16, 2015, Latimes.com

A 10-year LAPD officer and a second person were charged by federal prosecutors Monday with trying to smuggle a Mexican citizen into the United States in the trunk of a car at the Otay Mesa border crossing.

Officer Carlos Curiel Quezada Jr., 34, and Angelica Godinez, 31, were stopped by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers Saturday evening when they drove a white 2014 Nissan Juke through the border crossing.

The pair showed their passports and said they were headed to Mission Hills, according to the federal charging document. But when the car was inspected by a device that acts like an X-ray machine at a secondary inspection point, authorities noticed something unusual about the trunk.

When law enforcement popped the trunk, they found Antanasio Perez-Avalos, 26, hiding in the spare tire compartment, according to federal prosecutors.

Perez-Avalos “is a Mexican citizen with no legal ability to enter the United States,” U.S. Customs officials said.

Obama's State Of The Union Guests Include An Illegal Alien

Stephen Dinan, Jan. 19, 2015, Washington Times

Anita McBride, who served as chief of staff for first lady Laura Bush, said the president, first lady and other key staffers squirrel away ideas throughout the year based on letters they receive or people they meet.

“They’re looking to select individuals who reflect, from their perspectives in a positive way, their issues and priorities they have for the American people, and also reflect the generosity, the compassion, the example of the American spirit,”

Obamacare Offers Firms $3,000 Incentive To Hire Illegals Over Native-Born Workers

Stephen Dinan, Nov. 25, 2014, Washington Times

Under the president’s new amnesty, businesses will have a $3,000-per-employee incentive to hire illegal immigrants over native-born workers because of a quirk of Obamacare.

President Obama’s temporary amnesty, which lasts three years, declares up to 5 million illegal immigrants to be lawfully in the country and eligible for work permits, but it still deems them ineligible for public benefits such as buying insurance on Obamacare’s health exchanges.

Who Lied? Jonathan Gruber Linked To Getting Obamacare To Illegal Aliens

Jeffrey Lord, Nov. 14, 2014, Newsbusters

As President Obama addresses a Joint Session of Congress on his health care proposals - the proposals that would eventually become The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) -- aka ObamaCare -- South Carolina Congressman Joe Wilson abruptly and famously shouted “You lie!” While Wilson was chastised for his decided breach of congressional decorum, in fact what he was literally yelling about were these words from President Obama: “There are also those who claim that our reform effort will insure illegal immigrants. This, too is false. The reforms I’m proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally.”

California Cop Killer Was Deported Twice

Marcelo Marquez after deadly shootings,
Oct. 24, 2014
By Graham Noble, Oct. 25, 2014, Guardianlv.com

The man who goes by the name of Marcelo Marquez and is now in custody for the shooting deaths of two California sheriff’s deputies was previously deported twice from the United States. In addition, the Mexican national is not only an illegal immigrant but was also convicted of being in possession of drugs in 1997.

Following his conviction, the 34-year-old Mexican was deported but returned again to the United States. He was arrested and deported again in 2001. Although he had been known as Marcelo Marquez, a fingerprint match has now identified him as Luis Enrique Monroy-Bracamonte, although there is no confirmation as to whether this name was also a previously assumed identity.

A massive manhunt began Friday after Marquez – or Monroy-Bracamonte – shot and killed a sheriff’s deputy after a traffic stop in Sacramento, California, at around 10.30 in the morning. As he attempted to give law enforcement officers the slip, Marquez hijacked two civilian vehicles and later fired upon two more deputies as they approached the stolen pickup in which he was traveling. In that shooting, another deputy was killed, while his partner was wounded.
