Florida Sheriff Rips Black Community's Embrace Of 'Thug Culture'

By Bradford Thomas, Apr. 24, 2015, TruthRevolt.com

Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan posted a video message this week expressing his politically incorrect opinions on "black culture." The 30-year law enforcement veteran started by denouncing the term “African-American” as "divisive," before arguing that the embrace of “thug culture” was destroying the community and calling for a renewed focus on teaching "character and integrity."

“First off, let me take issue with the title of ‘African-American,’” he began. “We’re Americans.”

Stewart Calls Fox News ‘Racism Deniers’

Mar. 11, 2015

STEWART: “ — By overwhelmingly harassing black people. No accumulation of racist incidents is enough to convince these guys that racism is still a society-wide problem. Especially considering the conservative media’s whole business model is generalizing isolated incidents. Using one lobster-eating surfer on food stamps or one renamed holiday parade to convince their fearful viewers this country is in the throes of a freeloader’s Christmas war. I guess in Fox world poverty is a choice but being racist is a product of your environment. You know what? Even with that in mind, I’m hopeful. Because racism deniers are just a slight inflection away from actually understanding the depth of the real problem. Here’s Megyn Kelly explaining why finding emails from Ferguson police supervisors comparing the president to a chimpanzee is not evidence of a larger issue.”

KELLY [video]: “There are very few companies in America, whether they’re public or private, in which — if you sic 40 F.B.I. agents on the company and review every email and every document and every communication between the employees, you won’t find any racist emails, any inappropriate comments and then tar the entire organization with that is problematic.”

STEWART: “It’s so close! You have the right words. Your inflection is just a little off. Let me try it again. There are very few companies in America where if you review their communications you’re not going to find racist e-mails! You see the difference? You see that? And then just as a suggestion you could tag that sentence with, ‘How f*cked up is that!’”

Charlie Rangel: Some Republicans 'Believe That Slavery Isn't Over'

Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.)
By Colin Campbell, Oct. 30, 2014, Businessinsider.com

Veteran Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) had some harsh words for the Republican Party during a Thursday campaign rally for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D).

As he has done repeatedly before, Rangel compared some members of the GOP to confederates from the Civil War era. But at the Thursday evening event, he added that they "believe that slavery isn't over."

"We have to win. We have to be able to send a national message with Andrew Cuomo. And the thing is: Everything we believe in — everything we believe in — they hate. They don't disagree — they hate! They think if you didn't come from Europe 30 years ago, you didn't even make it. Some of them believe that slavery isn't over and they and think they won the Civil War!" Rangel shouted.

In contrast, Rangel said the Democratic Party is doing "God's work" on issues important to the American people.

MSNBC' Wagner OK With Racial Tactics—If That's What It Takes To Win

By Mark Finkelstein, Oct. 30, 2014, Newsbusters.org

Could this be the most cynical statement of the campaign season? The woman whose recent wedding President Obama attended is okay with stoking the racial fears of black Americans—if that's what it takes to drive them to the polls and secure Dem victories. Alex Wagner devoted a segment of her MSNBC show today to the naked appeals to the racial fears of black Americans that Democrats are making in campaign ads. Wagner discussed Dem ads that seek to stoke black fear toward Republicans by invoking Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown.

You might think Wagner would have condemned these ugly tactics, explicitly aimed at driving Americans apart based on their race. Think again. To the contrary, Wagner concluded the segment by saying that it shouldn't have to be the kind of threats contained in these ads that get people to vote, "but if it does, so much stronger the party is for it."

When Woman Claims Disney Is Racist for Having All White Princesses -- This Man Has an EPIC Response

By Gina Cassini, Oct. 7, 2014 Top Right News

If you’ve ever watched a Disney movie, you’ve probably noticed something about the main princess characters. They’re all white.

One woman on Tumblr claimed that this is the case because a racist Disney is trying to “whitewash” their movies by making sure all the princesses remain white. But one man with a brilliant rebuttal that showed just how wrong she was.

The woman posted an image of 4 Disney characters representative of the four seasons with the following comment:

“Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter represented by the princesses (and a Queen).”

One woman that felt this was a racist representation and wrote, “Are you sure they don’t all represent winter because everything looks pretty White.”

What the man does next is worthy of applause. Not only does he point out in epic fashion the origins of the fairy tales for each of the Disney films, but also racial demographics of the countries the authors hailed from. And then he went on from there, in brilliant fashion.

Some people just have to see every issue in terms of race.
