Hate Network CNN To Pamela Geller: 'Do You Relish' Being Hunted By Jihadists?

CNN, the left-wing hate network that uses every opportunity available, including the threat of a beheading, to launch hate campaigns against its political enemies on the right, asked Pamela Geller Wednesday night if she “relishes the idea” of jihadists hunting her down to behead her.

That was an actual question mean-girl Erin Burnett asked Geller after learning of a plot that was/is afoot to take the free speech activist’s head.

Keep in mind as you watch the clip below, Burnett is well aware Geller has increased her security but still asks if she relishes being hunted.

‘Ferguson Effect': America’s New Crime Wave Is All Part Of The Plan

The Wall Street Journal is calling the dramatic end of America’s two-decade-long drop in crime “The Ferguson Effect.” Led behind the scenes by President Obama, America’s fraudulent civil rights leaders (Al Sharpton) and the mainstream media (especially CNN), worked together — starting with their lies in Ferguson — to launch hate campaigns against the police.

The result is an empowered criminal element and by extension a horrific increase in murders, shootings, and other violent crimes:

Gun violence is up more than 60% compared with this time last year, according to Baltimore police, with 32 shootings over Memorial Day weekend. May has been the most violent month the city has seen in 15 years.

In Milwaukee, homicides were up 180% … Through April, shootings in St. Louis were up 39%, robberies 43%, and homicides 25%. “Crime is the worst I’ve ever seen it,” said St. Louis Alderman Joe Vacarro at a May 7 City Hall hearing.

Lena Dunham apparently wants us to believe this was all some kind of crazy coincidence. Yes, the real Barry One was a prominent Oberlin Republican who worked at one of the school libraries during Dunham's time there. But when she described her alleged rapist as a prominent Oberlin Republican named Barry who worked at the school library, she didn't mean him.

Random House Goes For Quick Payoff, Clears 'Barry One'

After two months of requests made through his attorney, the man Breitbart News identified as "Barry One" in an investigative report published last week has, at least, been exonerated by Lena Dunham's publisher, Random House. The publishing giant didn't apologize. Nor did Lena Dunham. Regrets were expressed over "the confusion."

In a statement released Monday to The Wrap that raises many more questions than it answers, Random House finally admits: “The name ‘Barry’ referenced in the book is a pseudonym. Random House, on our own behalf and on behalf of our author, regrets the confusion.”

“As indicated on the copyright page of Not That Kind of Girl by Lena Dunham, some names and identifying details in the book have been changed. The name ‘Barry’ referenced in the book is a pseudonym,” the publisher told TheWrap exclusively. “Random House, on our own behalf and on behalf of our author, regrets the confusion that has led attorney Aaron Minc to post on GoFundMe on behalf of his client, whose first name is Barry.”

“We are offering to pay the fees Mr. Minc has billed his client to date,” the company continued. “Our offer will allow Mr. Minc and his client to donate all of the crowd-funding raised to not-for-profit organizations assisting survivors of rape and sexual assault.”

Breaking: 'Barry One' Launches Legal Fund; Considers Suit Against Lena Dunham

The man identified as "Barry One" in a Breitbart News investigation debunking Lena Dunham's story of being raped in college by a "mustachioed campus Republican" named Barry, has made his first official statement since the release of that report. Through his attorney, identified as Aaron Minc, Barry One has set up a legal fund to cover current legal expenses, clear his name, and to potentially file suit against Ms. Dunham.

The proceeds from the legal fund will be used only to cover Barry One's legal expenses. If there are any leftover monies, those will be donated to non-profit organizations that aid sexual assault victims.

For more than two months, and to no avail, Barry One has asked Dunham (through her representatives) to clear his name. Obviously, she has refused.

New York Times Slashes 7.5% Of Staff, Digital Platforms Fail

After weeks of rumors, The New York Times announced Wednesday that more than 100 newsroom jobs will be slashed, as "well as a smaller number of positions from its editorial and business operations[.]" If enough people don't accept buyouts, the ax will fall. According to the Huffington Post, this adds up to ahuge 7.5% cut of the overall Times' staff.

What has to be especially troubling for the Times is that its new much-hyped digital platforms have failed. According to the paper's editor Dean Baquet, the NYT Now and NYT Opinion apps are "not achieving the business success we expected."

NYT Opinion will be killed off.

These digital platforms were the last hope for a New York Times that has seen its physical subscription rates and advertising revenues plummet in recent years.

The note also said financial results from the company’s third quarter, which ended Sunday, had improved from a difficult second quarter. Digital advertising is likely to show growth of about 16 percent in the third quarter, the best quarterly performance since 2010, and digital subscriptions are expected to increase by more than 40,000, the largest number of quarterly additions since 2012.

But the company’s profitability was lower than during the same period last year as costs increased.

MSNBC Sinks To 7 Yr. Lows; Maddow, Hayes Worst Ever Demo

MSNBC is in trouble. Big trouble. Despite the network achieving quarterly ratings lows unseen since 2007, MSNBC President Phil Griffin is determined to double down on failure with offerings such as illegal alien-advocate Jose-Diaz Balart and leftwing Millennial bait Ronan Farrow.
Meanwhile, back in the real world

MSNBC just had its worst three month stretch in nearly 7 years. For Q3 2014, MSNBC is down double digits in total day and primetime viewership. Among total day, A25-54 demo viewers, MSNBC placed fourth, behind FNC, CNN and HLN. In primetime, among total viewers MSNBC was second behind Fox News and ahead of CNN and HLN.

In the all-important, advertiser-coveted 25-54 demo, Rachel Maddow, Chris Hayes, and Lawrence O'Donnell posted their worst showings… ever.

MSNBC's numbers are so low, CNN is able to pretend its own ratings aren't catastrophic.

Former Secretary of State and almost-certain 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton not only demanded $275,000 to speak at the University of Buffalo, her nine-page contract is filled with the kinds of demands that Pop Divas like Madonna are regularly mocked for.

According to documents obtained by the Washington Post, on top of that mammoth speaking fee, Clinton's contract demands…

…the university provide "a presidential glass panel teleprompter and a qualified operator," that Clinton's office have "final approval" of her introducer and the moderator of any question-and-answer session, as well as "the sets, backdrops, banners, scenery, logos, settings, etc," and that the topic and length of the former secretary of state's speech would be at her "sole discretion."

Nothing about bathing in Evian water or a bowl of M&M's with the green ones removed, but there is this:

The contract also required that the university pay a fee of $1,000 to have a stenographer transcribe Clinton's speech, but that the transcript be "solely for [Clinton's] records," and that the university was not permitted to tape the speech.

Clinton has attempted to tamp down the uproar over her greedy cash grab from a number of public universities with the claim that she donated all of her speaking fees to charity -- the charity of course being the Clinton Foundation. That likely means she is able to keep the money close and still write it off as a charitable tax deduction.

The rich get richer.

As predictable as the media silence to follow comes the news that New York City's new left-wing mayor, who ran on a platform based in large part on raising taxes, paid an effective 8.3% tax rate in 2013 based on a total income of over $200,000.

Mayor de Blasio and his wife made $167,047 in income, $52,000 in rental income on a second home in Park Slope, and reported charitable donations that totaled just 3% of their income, or $5,597.
