Bernie Sanders Is In A 'Tie' With Hillary Clinton In One Key Primary State

By Brett Logiurato, Jun. 26, 2015, Business Insider

Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton and fellow Democratic candidate and US Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) are in a "statistical tie" in the first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire, according to a new poll of the state released Thursday evening.

The poll, from CNN and New Hampshire station WMUR, found that Clinton leads Sanders, 43-35, among Democratic primary voters in the state. But that result is within the margin of error (plus-or-minus 5.2%).

"Hillary Clinton, who has held comfortable leads over all her Democratic rivals, is now in a statistical tie with Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders in New Hampshire," wrote Andrew Smith and Zach Azem of the University of New Hampshire Survey Center, which conducted the poll.

For one thing, they say they’re increasingly engaged ahead of the all-important election — but it’s also clear they’re not very well-informed. And they think government can help them, particularly in an area where they’ve struggled to get ahead — in their jobs.

Young people are ‘ready for Hillary’

Right now, young people want former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to become the nation’s first female president in 2017.

Top Democrat Sets Off Intraparty Fury After Saying Obamacare Passage Was A 'Mistake!

Brett Logiurato, Nov. 26, 2014, Fusion

Sen. Chuck Schumer’s (D-New York) comments on Wednesday about Democrats’ misguided focus on health care in President Barack Obama’s first term prompted backlash from top Democrats and left-leaning groups, who accused him of being politically craven.

At a speech before the National Press Club in Washington on Tuesday, Schumer said Democrats made a mistake by entering into a fight over health care after they passed the 2009 economic stimulus.
