The Trump administration intends to develop a "state of the art" missile defense system to protect against attacks from Iran and North Korea, the White House said in a policy position posted on its website on Friday.

The statement, posted on the White House website within minutes of Donald Trump's inauguration, did not provide details on whether the system would differ from those already under development, its cost or how it would be paid for.

Report: U.S. Cyberattack On N. Korea Nuke Program Failed

The United States tried but failed to sabotage North Korea's nuclear weapons program with a computer virus in 2010, Reuters reported Friday.

The cyber attack came at the same time the Stuxnet virus was disrupting Iran's uranium-enrichment efforts, according to sources familiar with the stealth effort. Stuxnet was reportedly created by the United States and Israel.

The North Korea attack involved a Stuxnet variant that was designed to activate "when it encountered Korean-language settings on an infected machine," Reuters writes. But U.S. agents were never able to install the malware on the computers controlling Pyongyang's nuclear program.

Unlike Iran, which is widely connected to the Internet, North Korea remains extremely isolated from global communications. The country's only Net connection runs through China, which heavily monitors and filters traffic. Few North Koreans own a computer, which requires police approval.

“They’re doing a movie about North Korea, and it’s a comedy,” he said, The Hill reported. “And I went cool, cool, cool. The next thing you know, I’m seeing some of the pieces, and he wants to go kill this guy? That ain’t funny. That is not funny.”

Mr. Rodman is in the midst of promoting his own film, “Dennis Rodman’s “Big Bang in Pyongyang,” about his basketball-playing experience in the country.

North Korea Pushes Myanmar To Seize Pirated Versions Of 'The Interview'

Government officials and police contacted by Reuters denied receiving any order to seize the film. "We seized them simply because they were unapproved and pirated," said an officer from a police-station in Latha Township in Yangon, who declined to be named, referring to some copies of the film seized in a recent raid. Visits to a half-dozen stalls and shops selling illegal DVDs in downtown Yangon failed to turn up a single copy of the film, although dozens of other pirated DVDs were on sale.
