Republicans Slam Iran Nuclear Deal, Vow to Kill It

Republicans in Congress have for months been openly skeptical of the Obama administration’s nuclear negotiations with Iran, and when a deal was announced Tuesday morning, they denounced it and pledged to try to stop it.

Given the parameters of lawmakers’ ability to review the agreement, however, drumming up the necessary support to actually block it will prove difficult.

President Obama announced the pact in a statement from the White House early Tuesday, and said it “offers an opportunity to move in a new direction. We should seize it.”

Obama said the deal would cut off Iran’s pathways to nuclear weapons, be subject to strict verification standards, force Iran to get rid of 98 percent of its stockpile of enriched uranium and permanently prohibit Iran from pursuing a nuclear weapon. Needless to say, most Republicans in Congress disagreed with the president’s assessment. House Speaker John Boehner said Obama “abandoned his own goals.”

WASHINGTON, March 15 (Reuters) - Representative John Boehner, the top Republican in the U.S. House of Representatives, plans to announce a new investigation this week into Hillary Clinton's use of email when she led the State Department, ABC News reported on Sunday.

ABC's "This Week" program said top Republicans had briefed it about Boehner's plans, but did not give details.

Clinton, expected to launch her campaign soon for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016, has faced a storm of criticism over her email habits. She used a personal email address instead of a government one, as well as a personal server, during the period she was secretary of state from 2009 to 2013.

Hoyt said he started to hear the devil’s voice from the speakers in his car and his radio at home after he was fired. The voices were telling him that Boehner was evil, Desrosiers said.

He told investigators he dialed 911 because he believed evil people were going to “come chop him up,” and he was trying to expose Boehner as the devil, according to court documents obtained by WCPO.
