"When ESPN or Comcast announce they are losing subs, that is a good thing for us," said Leslie Moonves, chairman and president of CBS, at an investor conference in New York on Thursday.

In a colorful discussion at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia Conference, Moonves said analysts should be distinguishing CBS from its peers. Stealing NBC's old catchphrase, Moonves boasted, "We are must-see TV," perhaps implying that the others are not.

LOS ANGELES (CBSNewYork/AP) — Caitlyn Jenner accepted the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs on Wednesday night while urging acceptance for others who are transgender.

She received a standing ovation from some of the sporting world’s biggest stars after her 10-minute speech during the annual awards honoring the year’s top athletes and moments.

“This transition has been harder on me than anything I can imagine,” said Jenner, who revealed she was in the process of becoming a woman in a televised interview with Diane Sawyer in April.

NEW YORK (AP) — Real estate mogul and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said in his campaign kickoff speech that some Mexican immigrants to the U.S. bring drugs and crime, and some are rapists. He has been widely criticized for his June 16 statement, but he has refused to apologize and instead repeated his views.

A host of organizations and countries are re-examining or severing their relationships with Trump and businesses connected to him, and their ranks are growing.

In the wake of Macy's decision to stop carrying Trump menswear, clothing company PVH Corp. says it's winding down its licensing deal with Trump, which was scheduled to run through 2018.

The PGA of America says it is moving its Grand Slam of Golf from Trump's Los Angeles course. The PGA of America says the move was made by mutual agreement with Trump.

For 26 years, Pete Rose has kept to one story: He never bet on baseball while he was a player.

Yes, he admitted in 2004, after almost 15 years of denials, he had placed bets on baseball, but he insisted it was only as a manager.

But new documents obtained by Outside the Lines indicate Rose bet extensively on baseball -- and on the Cincinnati Reds -- as he racked up the last hits of a record-smashing career in 1986. The documents go beyond the evidence presented in the 1989 Dowd report that led to Rose's banishment and provide the first written record that Rose bet while he was still on the field.

"This does it. This closes the door," said John Dowd, the former federal prosecutor who led MLB's investigation.

The Hall of Fame should tell the true story of baseball: the good, the bad, the ugly, the beautiful, the inspiring, the embarrassing. Let Pete Rose in.

The documents are copies of pages from a notebook seized from the home of former Rose associate Michael Bertolini during a raid by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service in October 1989, nearly two months after Rose was declared permanently ineligible by Major League Baseball. Their authenticity has been verified by two people who took part in the raid, which was part of a mail fraud investigation and unrelated to gambling. For 26 years, the notebook has remained under court-ordered seal and is currently stored in the National Archives' New York office, where officials have declined requests to release it publicly.

Tiger Woods Shoot 85 At Memorial -- Worst Career Round On PGA Tour

DUBLIN, Ohio -- The slow, steady progress that Tiger Woods said he has been making with his golf game came to a sudden, ugly halt on Saturday at Muirfield Village Golf Club.

At the place where he has won five times, Woods shot a career-worst 85, including a quadruple-bogey 8 on the 18th hole.

Zac Blair's dream quickly turned into Tiger Woods' nightmare at the Memorial Tournament on Saturday.

He made just one birdie and dropped to last place in the Memorial Tournament, six strokes behind the next-lowest player in the field, Lucas Glover.

Justin Rose shot a 6-under 66 on Saturday that gave him a three-shot lead and put him 27 strokes ahead of Woods.

"Obviously that's a tough round to swallow,'' said Rose, the 2013 U.S. Open champion who works with Sean Foley, Woods' former coach. "You can't really blame the weather or this or that. It's a course he's played well on. I'm not sure I have any advice really at this point. That's just a tough round to swallow, really.''

Because there are just 71 players, Woods will play alone, first off, on Sunday morning.
