David Ruenzel: Guy Who Made A Living Excusing Black Criminality Just Got Murdered By Two Black Oakland Males

Not to sound coldhearted, as a man lost his life, but I guess he had to learn the brutally hard way that there is no excuse for any sort of criminal violence, regardless of whether it is committed by an allegedly victimized black person or an allegedly privileged white person – and that anyone can be a victim of criminal violence, including even those who make a living out of excusing it.

Student Robbed At Gunpoint, Says He Deserved It Due To His 'Privilege'

In an oped for the GU newspaper, The Hoya, Friedfeld wrote that he "can hardly blame" the assailants for robbing him. He argued that income inequality is to blame for the incident.
"Who am I to stand from my perch of privilege, surrounded by million-dollar homes and paying for a $60,000 education, to condemn these young men as ‘thugs?’ It’s precisely this kind of ‘otherization’ that fuels the problem," Friedfeld wrote.

Economist Walter Williams’ latest column is called “White Privilege.”
He writes about the “white guilt” courses taught in our colleges and universities. William says these courses indoctrinate students into believing America remains a racist, sexist homophobic country that got rich and powerful by stepping on the backs of the “oppressed.” Courses like this help to manufacture Democrat voters, student taught to believe in collectivism and in an ever-growing government welfare state.
Such courses argue that race and racism remain major factors today. Do they? Are slavery and discrimination the reasons for the current "plight of the black underclass"?
Williams says no.
However, well-intentioned but misguided government policies discourage family formation. Strong families, argues Williams, remains central to escape poverty. Here is our interview:
UCLA public policy Prof. James Q Wilson says to escape poverty one must do three things: finish high school; don't have a child for 20 years old; and get married before having a child. Follow that formula, says Wilson, and you will not be poor.
