Snoop Dogg Stopped By Italian Customs

MILAN (AP) -- Snoop Dogg has had another run-in with European authorities.

Italian financial police said they stopped the rapper at the Lamezia Terme airport in Calabria on Saturday with $422,000 in cash, well above the limit that can legally be transported across EU borders undeclared. The incident comes less than a week after Snoop Dogg was briefly stopped in Sweden on suspicion of drug use after a concert near Stockholm.

Financial police confirmed a report by the Italian news agency ANSA that half of the cash was impounded under Italian anti-money laundering codes. In such cases, the balance is returned minus any fine set by magistrates.

In an interview with Bravo’s Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, the rapper said he believes the country is ready for its first female president, and he is prepared to cast his vote for Clinton.

“You know, I like to be politically correct, but sometimes I’m politically incorrect,” Snoop told Cohen. “But I’ll say that I would love to see a woman in office because I feel like we’re at that stage in life to where we need a perspective other than the male’s train of thought.”
“And just to have a woman speaking from a global perspective as far as representing America, I’d love to see that. So I’ll be voting Ms. Clinton,” the rapper added.

Snoop joins a long list of musicians who support Clinton, including Ariana Grande, Carole King, Moby, Ellie Goulding, and Katy Perry.

Hillary Clinton Racks Up Rapper Endorsements

CNN) - A growing number of rappers are queuing up plans to make beautiful music with the front-runner Democratic presidential candidate: Hillary Clinton.

An early high-profile endorsement came from Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame, who announced his own candidacy for the 2016 presidential race on 4/20 last month in a video posted by Rolling Stone, promising to legalize marijuana if he became president.

Waka later endorsed Clinton in an interview with MTV News, proclaiming that "A woman could do it. I've seen my momma raise five boys -- that's super hard, so women can do the same s--- that men could do," adding that he might even help Clinton with her campaign if she helps him promote his newest album, "Flockaveli 2."

Iggy Azalea needs to learn her place in the rap world -- at the bottom -- because she has NO business beefin' with top dogs like Snoop ... so says Dogg Pound rapper Daz Dillinger.

Daz tells TMZ ... Snoop doesn't "give a f***" about Iggy because she's nowhere near his level ... and definitely doesn't care about her reaction to the pic Snoop posted yesterday making fun of her.

The photo showed an albino-looking woman with the caption, "Iggy Azalea no make up." Iggy responded by calling Snoop an ass for posting such a mean pic.

Rapper Snoop Dogg - also known as Snoop Lion - posted a vulgar and racist list to his Instagram page showing the top ten reasons voters should not select Mitt Romney, TMZ reported Friday.

According to TMZ, the list was "originally created by @DragonflyJonez and was reposted by Snoop yesterday."

"The politically incorrect list refers to Romney as a 'white n****' who looks like he 'says n****' all the time,” a CBS site said.

Although the rapper did not create the list, CBS said he "took a photo of a notebook with the handwritten lists in two columns."

On one side is a list showing why Americans should not vote for Romney, while the other side shows a list detailing why he thinks voters should select Obama.

"The number one reason cited for not voting for Romney is because 'He a white n****.' Likewise, Obama will receive his vote because 'He a black n****," CBS added.
