Mary Landrieu Abruptly Ends Radio Interview

The three-term Democrat said the tea party is “taking this country in the wrong direction,” defended her vote for the federal Affordable Care Act, called state Sen. Elbert Guillory “a fraud” and capped it all off by abruptly ending the interview after 11 minutes.
On the federal Affordable Care Act, Landrieu argued with Crouere over whether the health care law is President Barack Obama’s signature legislation.

Liberal ‘Hell No' Caucus Rises

It was a remarkable move for a group that has stood behind Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) over the years, as he sought to protect vulnerable moderates, like Landrieu and some of her now-ousted colleagues, from taking tough votes on divisive environmental, health care and social issues.

Liberal Senate Democrats united to block the controversial project, even though their imperiled Democratic colleague Mary Landrieu of Louisiana begged them not to at a Democratic Caucus lunch on Tuesday afternoon.

Senate Democrats Vote To Reject Keystone, Elect Bill Cassidy In Runoff

Keep in mind, most of her colleagues voted “no” even with the implied-but-never-quite-explicitly-stated threat of a presidential veto! And they still wouldn’t vote to give Mary Landrieu an alleged “accomplishment” before the runoff! Why are they so disinclined to help her out? What, does she owe them money? Do they owe her money?
