Brooklyn Club Manager Says Cosby Gave Her Quaalude In 1970s, Woke Up Naked With His Pal
A Brooklyn-born former comedy club manager emerged Saturday as Bill Cosby’s latest accuser.
Joyce Emmons, speaking to TMZ.com, claimed the Grammy-winning comedian slipped her a Quaalude one night in the late ‘70s when she complained of a migraine in his Las Vegas hotel suite.
Emmons said she took the white pill, which Cosby described as “a little strong.” She blacked out, and woke up naked in bed with one of the comedian’s pals — and no recollection of how she got there.
When an angry Emmons confronted Cosby, she said, he laughed and admitted that he’d given her a Quaalude.
According to Emmons, Cosby — through not a drinker or drug user — kept a “drawer full of drugs” in his Vegas suit. Emmons said she often palled around with Cosby when he performed in Sin City.
