Clay Aiken has learned that you don't have to actually be a winner to come out ahead. He learned that lesson when he came in second on "American Idol" and was launched into fame while the actual winner of that contest is pretty much forgotten. He seems to have applied that lesson to his recent congressional campaign as well. Aiken lost in a landslide but not to worry, he is about to star in a TV reality show about that campaign. Unfortunately for Clay, some of the good footage of him hanging out with celebrity donors at a September 30 fundraiser in Los Angeles might not be able to be used. The donors are now feeling "duped" by Aiken according to Variety.

Its not a reality show any more than the documentary about Mitt Romneys run was. Clay is the subject of the documentary but its not his project and he wasn't paid. Fact checking is completely lacking. Look to the source. It started in a gossip blog by a bitterly disappointed blogger who wanted an interview and didn't get one. This is payback.
