Australian media titan Rupert Murdoch got a special greeting from Donald Trump on Thursday night: a presidential hug in front of a global audience including his nation's prime minister.

Murdoch, 86, introduced Trump during an American Australian Association gala event aboard the USS Intrepid, a decommissioned World War II aircraft carrier docked in New York Harbor.
