By Terence P. Jeffrey, Dec 08, 2015 CNS News

(CNSNews.com) - The federal government taxed more, spent more, and ran a bigger deficit in the first two months of fiscal 2016 than it did in the first two months of fiscal 2015, according estimates the CBO published yesterday.

The federal fiscal year begins on Oct. 1 and ends on Sept. 30.

The increase in federal spending in the first two months of fiscal 2016 was largely driven by increased expenditures on Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. The increase in taxation was driven by increases in individual income tax and payroll tax payments.

Federal Debt Will Explode Over Next 10 Years, CBO Says

Kevin G. Hall, Jan. 26, 2015, McClatchy DC

By 2025, the annual budget deficit is forecast to hit 4 percent of the overall economy, much higher than the 2.7 percent historical average.

The federal government is expected to spend $277 billion on interest on the debt in the current fiscal year. That’s projected to soar to $827 billion by 2025. As a percentage of the economy, it would more than double from 1.3 percent in 2015 to 3 percent in 2025.

In fact, though we as a nation have spent nearly $15 trillion in total welfare spending since Lyndon Johnson declared war on poverty in 1964, several families in rural and inner-city America continue to be trapped in generational cycles of dependency. Something is not working.

You Can NOT Compromise With Evil

Alexis Deacon, Dec. 16, 2014, Queen of Liberty

The Omnibus bill speeds up amnesty instead of defunding it and it is loaded with various other types of pork. The elite politicians in the beltway bubble continue to spend trillions of dollars which we simple do not have. They are putting coal in our Christmas stockings and our children and grandchildren will one day be handed the tab for this out of control spending. What kind of life will they have if we keep going down this path?

Our descendants might have to live in a world with a collapsed dollar, a lost civil society and a lack of liberty. This is a lifestyle no American alive today could imagine. Yet this is what will become of our heirs if we refuse to take a hard stance and begin to strongly resist this tyranny.
