Bill O’Reilly Gets Apology From MSNBC’s Chris Hayes: Is Al Sharpton Next?
Bill O’Reilly calls out a lot of people who misquote him and shames them as much as he could, although barely anybody actually makes an apology to the Fox News star. However, MSNBC’s Chris Hayes has actually apologized to O’Reilly. TV Newser has the scoop.
“MSNBC host Chris Hayes apologized tonight to Fox News host Bill O’Reilly over a segment on the Confederate flag that included Hayes telling viewers Bill O’Reilly said it represents the bravery of Confederates who fought in the Civil War.”
TV Newser goes on to note that after Bill O’Reilly called Hayes’ report “a complete distortion,” Hayes admitted he made a mistake and said he should have not attributed a false quote to O’Reilly.
Another MSNBC host, Al Sharpton, has ripped O’Reilly to shreds over the past few years. Somehow, it’s doubtful he will apologize since O’Reilly has referred to him as a charlatan. A Business Insider article from last year quoted O’Reilly’s anger towards Al Sharpton and others who he considers race exploiters.
