A trucker from Mesa, Ariz., has filed a federal lawsuit alleging that after he paid the Rev. Al Sharpton $16,000 for his help in a discrimination dispute with Verizon, the reverend failed to act.
In an interview with The New York Post, the trucker, Reggie Anders Sr., called Sharpton a “crook” and a “fraud,” saying, “He didn’t do anything he promised. Absolutely nothing.”
According to Anders, on the advice of his pastor, the Rev. David Wade, he contacted Sharpton’s National Action Network and arranged to fly to New York in March 2015 to meet with Sharpton.
