Former Secretary of State John Kerry offered praise for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's Green New Deal during a hearing in the House Oversight Committee Tuesday, saying the freshman lawmaker has shown more "leadership" on the issue of climate change than President Donald Trump "has in his lifetime."
"My question is where is your proposal?" Kerry asked GOP Rep. James Comer. "Did you have any hearings on it in the last few years? Mostly on Benghazi, if I can recall."
