California considers suing Trump administration over immigration

WASHINGTON - California is poised to sue the Trump administration over the president’s latest attempt to punish jurisdictions tagged by the Justice Department as “sanctuary cities” that harbor undocumented immigrants, according to two sources close to the case.

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra — in conjunction with other California city and county attorneys — is considering charging the Justice Department with violating the Constitution by threatening to take crime-fighting funds away from cities and states that do not fully cooperate with federal immigration agents, according to those sources.

  1. I try hard not to miss your show on AM 870 during my Los Angeles commute home. It's this kind of domination and constant activism by the CA institutional left that wearies us Californians no end. I have lived my entire life here, but it's painful to see the bankrupt state. It's bankrupt in moral matters and in it's fiscal condition. It's hard to have hope that California will return to sanity. But who really knows what will happen? Amazing things have happened even during my life.
