Marijuana affects different people differently. Some high-functioning individuals can go to work stoned and do a passable job. But not everyone is high-functioning. The last thing we need is for stupid people to get stupider, and that is what pot does to the stupid.
ReplyDeleteI feel we already have a great system: many people smoke pot and do not get caught. If you're stupid enough to get caught, then you are too stupid to be smoking it and deserve legal penalties so that you will not smoke it.
That's my laissez-faire solution - no new laws needed! :) It should remain illegal.
