Chance took to Twitter Friday morning to criticize Lee’s modern re-telling of “Lysistrata” by Aristophanes, a Classical Greek play about women withholding sex from their husbands in order to stop their fighting.
The rapper, a Chicago native, began by explaining that he’s “not supporting this film out here,” saying the film will “get ZERO love” in Chicago because it’s “goofy and it’s a bunch of ppl from NOT around here telling u to support that sh-t.”
