11 Year Old Boy Shoots Home Invader To Protect Sister

Police say an 11-year-old St. Louis boy fatally shot someone breaking into his home to protect his little sister.

Authorities say the boy, who was home alone with his 4-year-old sister, killed the home invader Thursday with one shot to the head and sent the other burglar fleeing, KSDK reports.

Police have arrested the second suspect, and said the other home invader, who was 16, was pronounced dead inside the home. The pair had reportedly tried to break into the home several times that day.
