Al Sharpton to Start Media Watchdog Blog

Al Sharpton has an hour every night on MSNBC to blast away at whoever he wants -- usually anyone who dares question the Obama administration. He has a media megaphone. NewsBusters would enjoy a nightly show on cable news to question the "Al Sharpton. But Al Sharpton wants to start criticizing the liberal media which has been so willing to promote him over the years?

Sharpton’s civil rights advocacy organization, the National Action Network, announced it will launch a media-watchdog blog called “The Shift Daily” in a post on Instagram from Rachel Noerdlinger, his longtime spokeswoman. She had a brief stint in New York Mayor Bill de Blasio’s administration, but the New York Times reported it crumbled amidst "ethics lapses, unpaid parking tickets, [and] a boyfriend with a serious criminal past."

Noerdlinger wrote, “For decades, reporters & now bloggers have been writing about [Sharpton and NAN]. Now, NAN will flip the script and write about them.” She asked people to “send us your blogs, articles and writings … For a chance to be featured on the site when it launches.”
