But there’s one detail it leaves out: Dre’s violent past.
In 1991 he was accused of assaulting TV host Dee Barnes, who stated Dre “began slamming her face and the right side of her body repeatedly against a wall near the stairway” at a Grammys party.
At the time he pleaded no contest to the assault charges, and her civil suit against him was settled out of court.
But Barnes has just spoken out after watching the biopic, asking why it had no reference to the attack.
