President Donald Trump’s campaign has filed an arbitration action against Omarosa Manigault-Newman for allegedly violating a 2016 confidentiality agreement. In a statement, Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign said it had filed an arbitration with the “American Arbitration Association in New York City, for breach of her 2016 confidentiality agreement[.]” An official told The Washington Examiner the campaign is “seeking millions of dollars in retaliation” for her “egregious” violations, and may seek “ill-gotten profits” that come from sales of her new tell-all memoir.
