Rochester, N.Y. - The City of Rochester says that if a proposal to send immigrants seeking asylum to sanctuary cities goes through, it will welcome any and all who arrive.
This comes amid discussion in Washington, D.C. about a proposal to send immigrants to so-called sanctuary cities which have laws prohibiting law enforcement from working with immigration officials to arrest and deport illegal immigrants.
