Colin Kaepernick doesn’t have a job, but the free-agent NFL quarterback’s jersey is still outselling some of the league’s biggest stars.

Kaepernick made waves last season with the San Francisco 49ers, when he refused to stand for the national anthem as a protest against police brutality and systemic racism in America. That political stance may be preventing him from getting another NFL job — 20 free-agent quarterbacks have been signed ahead of him during the offseason. Kaepernick has had no job offers, and has worked out for just one team, despite the fact that he put up decent numbers for a terrible team in 2016, and is just a few seasons removed from starting in the Super Bowl.
