Trump’s fiery fellow seasoned New Yorkers’ counter attacks are joined by those by his allies in Congress. U.S. Rep. Mark Meadows and House Intelligence Committee Chairman, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) challenge the probe on such grounds as it stemmed from the “Russian dossier” arranged by associates of Hillary Clinton, whom Trump beat in the 2016 presidential election, and thus is politically-charged.
