“I do believe that kicking these 800,000 kids out to countries that they have probably not been to since they were toddlers, countries that speak languages that they may not even know, is not in our nation’s interest,” Ryan said.

Excuse me, but yet we allow millions of people into our country who cannot speak English! and then we cow-tow to them by offering up ESL classes. These "Child"hood arrivals are most likely now over 18 y.o., and by now they know that they have been here illegally. Why haven't they applied for citizenship? Because we continue to give away our resources to ILLEGAL ALIENS rather than our own American citizens. Mr. Zuckerberg has stated that there are approximately 700,000 illegals with jobs that would create a void if they were deported. I think there are 700,000 Americans who could fill those jobs and start making a living for their families. Here's my take on DACA: Deport: anyone with a criminal record, anyone who is on public assistance (them or their family), anyone whose parents have not applied for citizenship. Remain: those who have applied for citizenship and create a path for their parents if they are still illegal, those who have been with the same employer for a min of five years.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe we should kick them out either, but I do think they should take the steps necessary to become citizens in a very strict time frame. And if they have any thing in their records that is questionable/illegal activities, they should leave. And the reports I've heard of 40-50 percent fraud? That should be handled post haste.
