After a massive shakeup in the White House, with the Gen. John Kelly taking over as chief of staff on July 28, the palace intrigue has begun to calm down somewhat, but the foreign policy front has really heated up, with tensions escalating over the last week between the Trump administration and North Korea. So with all the changes in the White House and all the foreign policy "fire and fury," how are President Trump's poll numbers?
The short answer is not so good; in fact, historically bad at this stage in his presidency. Over the last two weeks, Trump has fallen below his usual spot in the low-40s to a 38% approval — though one major poll, Rasmussen, has seen some positive movement in the last few days. On both the economy and foreign policy, Trump also continues to struggle to gain positive momentum.
