  1. Whenever possible the news media will highlight these immigrant stories to illustrate the hardships people face coming to America. While sad and unfortunate and inhumane what are we suppose to do about this? To point out how gastly it is for immigrants to take turns sucking air through a hole in the side of a truck trailer doesn't mean we should over look these people have entered the country illegally. Taking a sympathy approach toward the plight of illegal immigrants is the very reason we have sanctuary cities, and law makers and law enforcement turning a blind eye toward doing something about wiping out illegal immigration. Look, if a person decides not to take chemotherapy for treatment of their cancer and as a result experiences horrific death, this is not a reason to offer them Obamacare. Or if a person smokes marijuana to curb the symptoms caused by chemotherapy this is no reason to legalize marijuana. Immigrants entering the country illegally and drowing, sufficating, or experiencing some other catastrophic death is not a valid reason for not building a wall or enforcing immigration laws on account of feeling sorry for people's plight in life.
