ESPN's business is collapsing and the network is desperately trying to find a way to stay above water. You know how a drowning person flails in the water before slipping under? ESPN's left-wing shift is that flailing. They think going left wing will save them. The reality is the opposite, ESPN going left wing was like giving a drowning person a big rock to hold and thinking it would keep them from drowning. Instead, it just made them sink even faster.

Yup. Sports and politics is a horrible mixture. Even worse than politics and music and I thought that was bad.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the blog. I miss the old ESPN, you remember don't you, when their goal was to report on sports, not to publicize their agenda, just to report. That's what drew me there night after night, why I would jump on their web-page day after day. But for some reason they decided to shove their own political agenda down my throat. To be honest, it's not just them, its almost all news stations. And I'm not just pointing at the main stream media. Sure CNN, CNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC are agenda driven, but so is Fox News. And while I may lean more to the side of Fox News when it comes to politics, I don't want them trying to force their conservative agenda down the throat of who are more liberal politically anymore than I want those other stations forcing their liberal agenda down my throat. I just want the news, I can decide for myself! At any rate, thanks for the post!
