What Matt Damon Doesn't Get About The US And Guns

While promoting his latest gun-toting action movie, Matt Damon took time to praise Australia for its gun-restrictive laws and unsuccessful buyback program — while also lamenting that America was not evolved enough to pass gun control measures.

“You guys did it here in one fell swoop and I wish that could happen in my country, but it’s such a personal issue for people that we cannot talk about it sensibly,” Damon said to The Sydney Morning Herald.

  1. I find it ironic that he mentions the word sensibly - as if it is obvious that removing more Liberty from American people is the sensible thing to do... When in fact, Matt is a reflection of a trendy Liberal society as if that is sensible... Obviously, he has made a lot of money acting in gun-toting roles and abandons the idea outright as if he is - truly - enlightened... Well, why doesn't he donate all of the money made filming such movies to advocate such ideas? This is rhetorical of course...
