It has been a while, but the last time the market was this unkind to Apple, was the year France won the football World Cup and Will Smith’s Just the Two of US was topping the charts in the UK.
The world’s most valuable company suffered its worst losing streak since July 1998 on Monday after closing down in the red for the eighth consecutive day.
Monday’s 0.1 per cent drop to $93.64 follows an 11 per cent decline last week after the iPhone maker reported its first quarterly revenue decline in 13 years and said sales of the iconic device slid.
