An Israeli man says being stabbed and almost beheaded by a Palestinian terrorist was a miracle in disguise — because doctors operating on his wounds discovered a life-threatening tumor growing inside his intestines.
“The terror attack saved my life,” said Daniel Cohen, a 31-year-old father of five.
“They found a growth on my intestine that I didn’t know I had,” he told the Times of Israel. “They cut it out and sewed what they needed to. If they wouldn’t have removed it, it could have gotten worse.”
Cohen was one of three people, including an 80-year-old woman, who were wounded on Nov. 2 by a Palestinian who attacked them on a bus in the city of Rishon LeZion in central Israel.
