The #DonaldTrump, #DavidDuke, #CurtSchilling Double Standard

By Larry Elder , Sep 01, 2015

Former baseball star and ESPN analyst Curt Shilling has been suspended by the sports network for posting a tweet that, in essence, compared Muslims to Nazis. At this time, whether Schilling, an out-if-the-closet republican weathers the storm and keeps his ESPN job remains unclear.

Question: Where was this sensitivity to Nazi references when done by prominent democrats?

Ex-VP Al Gore accused President George W. Bush of unleashing "squadrons of digital brown shirts" on reporters.

The late Julian Bond and former head of the NAACP said, "The Republican party would have the American flag and the swastika flying side-by-side."

Billionaire democratic donor George Soros accused Bush 43 of displaying "the supremacist ideology of Nazi Germany" and said that Bush "improved on the techniques used by the Nazi and communist propaganda machine."
