SAS Sniper Kills IS Executioner Before He Can Behead 8-Year-Old Boy
So that brings me to the real self-inflicted wound, which was a tweet by PBS NewsHour co-anchor Gwen Ifill on Wednesday—after it became known that President Obama had secured the necessary number of Democratic backers in the Senate to ensure that the nuclear agreement with Iran could not be blocked by opponents—that said: “Take that, Bibi.” That was a reference, of course, to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who has strongly opposed the agreement and came to Washington at the invitation of Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner to argue against it in front of Congress.*
Weak response to the obnoxious Gwen Ifill's deplorable comment. He gave us the obligatory cya about "how wrong it is" and blah, blah, blah. So...what is he going to DO about it? Just wring his hands?
ReplyDeleteIt was an absolutely UNACCEPTABLE breach of journalistic professionalism (not that there is such a thing these days). I think JournoSchool has become ClownSchool.
And how about someone on PBS discussing how absolutely dangerous this lunatic Iran deal IS? God forbid there is any counter-balance to their dedicated Leftism.
We have seen and continue to see how true the popular saying, "Stupid is as stupid does", is. Sometimes people get opportunities to do good things and be positive role models. But, instead they will totally embarrass themselves and those who hope that they will do good with their hate and hidden agendas instead of what they have been given the opportunity to do. Then the cherry on this is always when they blame someone else. Thank God, yes God, that we as a country are learning with each new reveal, slip or give away. Thanks Gwen.
