  1. "You don't think a lot is accomplished", Laura, when religion is "mocked". Thousands of us non-religious folks are tired to death of tip-toeing around sensitive religious folks but now you want to monitor and filter the way WE discuss the mess this particular most ugly of religions has brought to our doorstep? You do not fight this sort of pure evil with tolerance; you fight it with, yes, mockery and in-their-face counter-attacks. Your tolerance is what they have come to depend upon because we are the only tolerant partner in this "dialogue" you think is the answer. And you don't think Geller accomplishes much! That civilized dialogue is the route to take. Where is this so-called civilized dialogue? There is NO civilized dialogue going on of the sort you are pretending exists. People, with your friendly dialogue, have only accomplished deepening the sense of power these jihadist killers feel and act upon. Geller is right; every time we capitulate to their thin-skinned sense of outrage right after they shrug about their fellow Muslim's indulgence in yet another mass slaughter of innocents, we act to strengthen their movement, their willingness to push even harder and more dangerously and, ultimately, their evil ideology.
